Religion - Jesus blesses the children

Math - Two- and three-dimensional figures

Science - Learning about scientist Dr. Eugenie Clark; math in science

Social Studies - We need shelter

Reading - Initial, medial, and final letter sounds; long and short vowels; rhyming words; review sight words; sounds of X, Y, Z; read "The Elephant In The Garage"

Spanish - Color and number words; shapes; days of the week; months of the year; seasons; simple phrases; work on book "Animales"

Art - Line drawing

P.E. - Jumping

February 1 - Happy birthday, Valerie!

February  17 - 3rd Quarter midterm

February 20 - No school; Presdents' Day

 OTHER NEWS

Please make sure that your child is wearing the correct uniform:

          Chapel - white shirt, tie  (boys) ;  jumper, white blouse, tie  (girls)

          P.E. - gray t-shirt, green shorts

All students are required to have a second pair of sneakers for P.E. class.  These sneakers will be kept at school and used only for P.E. times.

Wednesday - Chapel and Library Day.

Friday - Homework is due, Show and Tell
