Building Bright Futures, Anchored in Christ

Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church and School is embarking on a mission. This is not a standard mission, but a mission to anchor ourselves in Christ’s peace, hope, and grace. No matter the storms or issues, if we remain anchored in Christ, then we know that we have built a bright future.

It is true that a financial campaign will not bring us closer to God, in case you are wondering. However, this is not just a financial campaign. As stated, this is a mission to sure up the lines and secure our connection to our True Anchor, that being Jesus Christ. For we believe that the more we are anchored in Christ, the more solid we will be in any storm.

Throughout this campaign our objectives are to grow closer to God through Bible Study, Worship, home devotions, and to raise funds to accomplish some physical projects around the facility. These objectives will secure us to Christ our Anchor, and allow us to continue “Building Bright Futures, Anchored in Christ.”

We ask for your ongoing support of this campaign. Support is appreciated in multiple ways. Here are ways that you can support:

1.       Prayer – pray for God’s providence in continuing to share the love of Christ

2.       Devotion – Attend Bible Study and do personal devotions at home

3.       Volunteer – Utilize your talents to help the campaign, church, school, and ECC

4.       Give – Financial contributions towards the campaign.
