WHY WE EXIST
Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran School carries on a tradition of over forty years of Lutheran education in Fort Lauderdale. We strive to educate the entire person in our education, emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. We serve Kindergarten through Eighth grade students in a safe environment. Our hope and prayer is that graduates of Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran School can say that they were well taught, well loved and that Jesus Christ was the heart and center of their education.
At Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran School, we believe a great education begins with Christ-centered relationships, that flow from teachers, to students and families. We believe each child is uniquely created by God. Shepherd of the Coast provides a safe and loving environment where students can discover and develop in their unique gifts, academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually to achieve their God-given purpose in life.
Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran school welcomes all students and we are a school with a diverse student population.
Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran School accepts the Florida Step Up for Students Scholarship, the AAA Scholarship, the Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES), Family Empowerment Scholarship with Unique Abilities (FES-UA), and Hope Scholarship.
Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran School admits students of any race, color or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at our school.
